• The Multiple Use Products •

Finding different uses for products is really good, especially if it's a product i already love for it's actual use. These three makeup items are really great for just that, so here they are.

• The One-Wash Shade •

Although i do like taking my time when doing my makeup, there's just something about quick and easy products that just satisfy me. This is one of them.

• The Playlist #1 •

Hello everyone! So today is a little bit of a different post - a music related post. To change things up on my blog a bit, i've decided to create a series called 'The Playlist' where i will be telling you all what i'm listening to at the moment. They're not always going to be 'current' songs, as i do love listening to old music as well as new. I don't really know what my music taste is, but by listening to these songs you might have some sort of an idea!

• The Wishlist #1: Spring Edition •

Ugh, stock photos. Anyway, today i wanted to share with you a few items that are on my beauty / fashion wishlist at the moment. A lot of these are pretty expensive, and many of these are quite hyped up but i thought i'd go through them anyway.

• One Hundred Of You •

One Hundred. One Hundred. One Hundred. This number seems so huge, and the fact that that many of you enjoy reading my blog seems crazy. I know tonnes of people have thousands, even millions, but 100 already seems so massive. I started this blog spontaneously in March last year (although i only started blogging regularly in November), and i honestly didn't expect anyone to read it. I love writing blog posts, editing my blog theme and generally interacting with you all, so thinking that you also love reading my posts makes me beyond happy. I'm not going to get soppy or too emotional, but i'd like to personally thank every single one of you who has taken their time to read my ramblings, leave comments and never fail to brighten my day. My blog is a big passion of mine, and i'm looking forward to continue writing it for a long time.

• The 'Orange' Lip •

I've never been much of an orange lip kind of person, but i feel like a peach or a coral orange are so perfect for spring time, so here are a few i will most probably be wearing throughout the following months.

• My Top 3 Liquid Liners •

I've never really been much of a liquid-liner type of person. A lot of the times liquid eyeliners are either far too hard to handle (ie. flimsy tips) or don't last very long on me. These three however, definitely make the cut for me.

• The Liebster Blog Awards! •

I've seen these awards go around for a while now, so when Lauren nominated me, i was so so grateful! The Liebster Awards were made to promote small/new blogs that have under 200 followers. I really think this is a great idea, as i know so many small bloggers that really deserve so much more recognition.

The rules are simple:
-You must link back to the person who nominated you
-You must answer the 11 questions given by the nominee before you
-You pick 11 nominees with under 200 followers to answer your questions
-You cannot nominate the person who nominated you
-You must tell the nominees that they have been nominated

• The Brush: Urban Decay vs. Real Techniques •

I've never really done a comparison post before, but i guess there is a first to everything! Today i'm going to be comparing two brushes, one drugstore and one high end. Both of these are great foundation brushes, especially good for buffing in. The first one is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, which comes in the Real Techniques Core Collection. I must admit that this is pretty much the only brush from the collection that i get really good use out of. They do have another similar brush in the line, the Expert Face Brush, but it is quite different. The Buffing Brush is a wide circular brush that widens at the end. It has a slight dome edge which really helps to buff in your foundation. This is great for powder aswell, as the top of the bristles are quite flat. The other brush is the Urban Decay Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush. The first thing i notice about this brush is the weight of the handle, which is pretty heavy. To be honest i like this, because it feels like you have a lot more grip and control when you're using it. The actual brush is a lot more dense than the Real Techniques one, so you get a lot more coverage from it too.

• Hello 2014 •

The fact that it is now officially 2014 really blows my mind. And i know it's really cliche but this past year has literally flown by. It seems only yesterday that i was lying on the beach in Lombok enjoying the summer sun. This year has been quite a big year makeup wise too, last year i had little to no makeup and now my stash has grown immensely (love that word).
