How to Tackle Anxiety in a Big City

Mental Health is something I've been wanting to address on my blog for quite a while now, but I didn't quite know whether putting my two cents in would be worth it. I'm not an expert on mental health, nor am I someone who suffers hugely from any disorder. However, more and more people seem to be coming forward with their conditions, which has opened up the conversation of mental health and the importance to nurture and take care of it just as much as your physical body, which is something I fully support.

5 Years of Blogging

5 Things I've Learned in the 5 Years I've Been Blogging

So back in 2013, a 13 year old Zazie sat down and created a blog called A Little Treat. Five years later, and here we are. Its been quite the journey, and I thought I'd share with you a little bit of blog wisdom I've gathered over the years.

Reflecting On The End Of Summer

I know technically summer lasts until the end of September, but going back to school is really the final step towards the end of the warmth of the past couple of months. This summer has been truly amazing for me. I've travelled to lots of lovely places (see some of them here), visited friends and family, and also enjoyed just chilling at home in New York, which is something I like to do more than often, as I really don't want to take this wonderful city for granted.

The Importance of Giving Back

Living in New York City is hard. Yes, being surrounded by the stereotypical "rich kids" of Manhattan on a daily basis, I admit, makes me a little blinded to the privilege I have. But then I step out of my little bubble and am faced with an immense amount of homelessness that pulls me straight back to reality. The huge gap between wealthy and poor here in the city is so obvious, yet so many people seem so oblivious.

Back To Blogging

I don't even know how to begin writing this post. Once again I've managed to break my promise of posting more, and have pretty much abandoned my blog for well over a year. However, this summer, with lots of free time on my hands, something clicked in me.

• Cacti & Blog Chat •

My desk/dressing table was looking a little messy so I decided to give it a good tidy and put these three little cacti on it. Apart from that the last couple of weeks have been mainly me studying as the final week of school approaches, but I must admit most of that time has been spent procrastinating.

• Hello 2014 •

The fact that it is now officially 2014 really blows my mind. And i know it's really cliche but this past year has literally flown by. It seems only yesterday that i was lying on the beach in Lombok enjoying the summer sun. This year has been quite a big year makeup wise too, last year i had little to no makeup and now my stash has grown immensely (love that word).
