• Christmas Lipstick Picks! •

Today i'm going to share with you guys some of my favourite lipstick choices for christmas, woot woot!

The obvious option would be red, but if you are going for a bold smokey eye, a soft nude is a great option to go for. The first one i have here is the Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink Pout. I've talked about this multiple times, so i won't go on too much but it's a nice nude pink toned mauve, the formula is really creamy and has a nice matte finish. In my opinion it would look good on anyone and everyone! The second one is a bit harder to pull off. It is the Maybelline Watershine Lipstick in Beige Glacé, which is a shimmery light plum colour. It's quite glittery, but if you can pull it off, this would be a perfect christmas lipstick!

Now onto the reds- my personal favourite. You honestly can't go wrong with a red lip in my opinion. The first one is LA Girl's Luxury Creme Lipcolour in Soul Mate, which is quite a good dupe for MAC's Russian Red. It's a nice deep red colour and the formula is lovely too, very highly pigmented and matte. And for US$4, you honestly can't go wrong! The next one is Lady Danger from MAC. MAC have quite a lot of red lip colours, so you have a fair few to choose from. Lady Danger is another matte but is more of a orange toned red compared to others like Russian Red or Ruby Woo.  Again this one is highly pigmented and creamy. This one actually belongs to my sister, but i'd love to get Russian Red soon. MAC Lipsticks cost £15, but for a christmas lipstick, i think one can afford to splurge!

And now for the final category- miscellaneous! The first one is the lip lacquer from Rimmel, the Apocalips in Stella. This is not a pure red, more of a pink toned red, but if you want a full on red i would suggest Big Bang. The Apocalips are really opaque and creamy and last all day. The finish is quite glossy aswell, which is a bit different to the mattes i mentioned previously. The second one is the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Rioja Red. In all honesty i really don't like the formula of this lipstick- it's so drying on me and is so hard to remove, leaving my lips really sore after scrubbing them trying to remove it. BUT it is a really nice pure red colour and i've heard a couple of people like Alix from icovetthee talk good things about this so i wanted to mention it anyway. And the final product i'm going to talk about is the Topshop Lip Crayon in Secret Party. I did a full review on it here so go check that out if you want to find out more about it.

And that was it for my christmas lipstick picks! Remember to comment yours down below, and i'll talk to you soon!
