• Little Aesop Samples •

Ahh Aesop. One of those brands i just want everything, but cannot justify the price. Sigh.

The other day when Aerin and I were browsing through the products, hoping they might have changed the price of the Anti-Blemish Masque, the kind man who worked there handed over to us little samples of some products. He gave us two of the ever famous Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque Sachets each, and to go with it the Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste. He explained to us that we should use the Exfoliater first, to prep the skin for the Masque. And i know it's hard to judge a product with one use, but so far i definitely think the mask lives up the hype. The paste however, despite having good exfoliating properties, has the strongest scent ever. It's so overpowering and the fact that i don't like it makes it worse. Sometimes i can deal with it if the product is really good, but for the price i just couldn't bite the bullet. But, like i said, the mask feels really nice and has a lighter more subtle scent. I'd need to use it more often for proper visible results, but my skin did feel a lot more clean, fresh and hydrated. I think the Anti-Blemish Masque is still at the top of my wishlist, but i wouldn't mind to have this one either.

Aesop uses both plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients, that have really good anti-oxidant properties, which is really good for the skin. I definitely want to try more from the brand, and i think these little samples are always good to see if you like the product. I know that a lot of brands test the products on your hand, but it's always nice to really know how it feels like.
