• Lilac Polish Love •

In spring, i love changing my nail polish shades from the dark berries around christmas and autumn time, and change to really pretty pastel shades. So far, i've been loving the pastel lilac nail, so i thought i'd share with you three that i've been using.

Essie 'Full Steam Ahead'
This was actually in the Essie's Summer Collection from last year (hence the small tube), but for some reason i hadn't used it very much yet. It is a really pretty light purple shade with sparkles running through it. I absolutely love the formula of Essie polishes, the brush is really wide, so it fits the entire nail and is fully opaque in just more than one coat. Essie have a couple of lilac nail polishes in their line, including 'Meet Me At The Altar', which is a really pretty pale shade, 'Full Steam Ahead' is one of the darker toned lilacs.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine 'Prickly Pear'
This shade is a lot less pink toned than the other two. Again this is a really pretty lilac shade, with a lot more blue tones than the rest. I must admit i much prefer this formula from Barry M than the original, as they become opaque in a lot less coats. And for £3.99 you can't really say no!

Butter London 'Molly Coddled'
I gave this shade to my sister for her birthday last year, but i couldn't resist adding this gorgeous shade to my list. This is described as a 'lavender orchid cream', which is a perfect description for it. It looks absolutely stunning with a tan (or in my case, without too). I love the slightly pinker tones this one has compared to the rest, and i definitely think this is a great shade for summer, aswell as spring.
